help_pilipinas community has been created to help all those affected by the Typhoon Sendong which devastated parts of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City in the southern Philippines on December 16th, 2011.

As fanfiction writers and readers, and graphic artists, we can help make a real difference to the people still suffering in these areas. A post about the devastation can be found here. All donations will be made to the Iligan Bloggers’ Society. Visit their site here for more information


We will be holding an auction on this community from January 1st to January 16th for fanfiction and graphics.

Right now we are looking for writers and artists who are willing to donate words or artwork—all JE fandoms are welcome! If you can help, please let us know the following in your comment:

Fic or art?
Length or type of graphic
Any restrictions? (i.e. ratings, etc.)

$1-For-A-Drabble - Sign Up Post

As some of you may know, Philippines was struck yet again by a devastating typhoon. This time it was much closer to home as I am currently living in the city that was highly affected. I made a post about it a few days earlier HERE and I am so happy that many of you have been so generous. The typhoon is over but it will be a while before those victims can get back on their feet.

With that in mind, I am planning a fund-raising activity with sweetspicyhot so please look forward to it and hopefully some of you can help as well. While that plan is still in the works, I've decided to get the ball rolling with a small activity myself. Thus, $1-For-A-Drabble came up. That's US$1 for every drabble that you request.

Here's how it will go:

• Those who would like to sign up as a writer for this cause, you may comment on this post with the pairing you are willing to write. Include also the timeline on how many days before you can deliver a request.
• For the donors, please leave your comment on this post with the name of the writer you choose and the pairing you would like.
• Please send your donations to Iligan Bloggers Society and forward the confirmation to pautami@yahoo.com. I will then inform your writer about it and they can start writing your fic. Kindly fill out the form at the lower part of the page with your information so that your name be included in the list of donors.
• You can request more than one drabble with a different writer for each.
• The fics will be posted as a comment to your request. I would like to request the authors to either post the drabble or the link as a comment to their donor's post. This is to compile all works generated in this event.

Summary: Out of a sudden Yoko wakes up in the middle of a wide desert, white sand all around him, just a lake and a single tree next to him. After freaking out and panicking he has to give in to this situation. Is it a nightmare? Is it reality?
When Sho, a mysterious man, suddenly appears, Yoko’s questions grow even further. But then, out of a sudden, he can’t remember it anymore. What is he fighting for? What is reality, what dream? Is Sho an enemy or his friend?
He starts to forget about the fundamental questions of his being: Why is he here? What is this place? Who is he? But then out of a sudden another young man appears, different than Yoko and still the same… remembering Yoko that he is supposed to fight - for something that he can’t remember anymore. The path between reality and dream is a small one… and a dark one. And the price Yoko has to pay might be more than just his life.
