Nino rubbed over his head in exhaustion, he felt seriously tired here. His head was hurting since he hadn’t slept much last night. But then he sighed, trying to shove aside his thoughts a bit. He wasn’t alone after all… so…

“Rina-chan…” he forced a smile to his lips, trying to sound as cheerful as possible. “So you just finished university?”

“Yes.” She smiled shyly. “I’m making my internship right now…”

“And what did you study?”

“Oh…” Rina smiled at that question, her eyes shining beautifully. “I’ll become a veterinarian… I always liked animals.”

Nino blinked at that. Okay…that was seriously cute and interesting and cool. He sighed. Actually this girl would be the ideal woman for him… She had the same music taste, similar interests…she had a good job so he wouldn’t have to worry about leaving her alone too much when he was on a tour. She was fun… and a bit shy… cute… interesting…

Just that there was something missing…

He sighed deeply when he went to the toilet for a moment, looking into the mirror. He shook his head when he saw the image reflecting from there. He was wearing a black suit, a tie, his hair perfectly styled. He looked so strange… so totally not like himself.

“Hey Nino-sama!” a cheerful voice came from behind him.

Nino almost jumped at that. “What…” he looked around a bit, sighing in relief when he realized that it wasn’t a stranger standing behind him, but… “Ghost?”

“Yes.” Ghost smiled. He looked around a bit. “And what is this here?”

“A restaurant” Nino explained. “I went out with a girl to eat something…”

“Ah…” Ghost nodded his head. “But you are not happy?”

“Well…” Nino blinked for a moment over this blunt question. He hated it when others surprised him like that and didn’t give him time to react properly… He silently counted down from 10 and tried to get his thoughts together, then he smiled at their ghost inscrutably. “Why do you think that Ghost?” his expression was almost perfect, not giving away anything. “I’m perfectly fine, of course. So why would you think that I’m not happy?”

“Because you look like crying…” Ghost told the slighter man bluntly.

Nino’s eyes grew wide at that. Slowly he started to realise that this ghost was not the stupid, dumb, nerve-wracking idiot all of them thought he was. Who was this guy? Was it even a guy? What was he? Why was he here?

Nino sighed a bit, sitting down on the floor and rubbing over his forehead in desperation. He closed his eyes. “Can I wish for you to tell me how to decide?”

“Of course not.” Ghost smiled. “It doesn’t work like that…”

Nino smiled sadly. “I knew you would say that, but I wanted to try it anyway…” He dozed off for a moment, considering his options before a sudden smirk appeared on his face. “Listen Ghost…” he started. “I will go out there again. Rina-chan is waiting after all… It’s impolite to leave her alone for such a long time. But…”

“But?” Ghost looked at the young guy curiously.

“Can others see you?” Nino asked, cursing himself that he hadn’t thought about this option earlier. “Other people than me and my friends?”

Ghost grinned a bit. “You guys are smart, little boys…” He shook his head. “No… Just you five can see me.”

“Alright then I wish…” Nino made a pause, trying to concentrate as well as possible. He wanted to choose exactly the right words. “…that… the moment I’m out there… you ask me some fundamental questions… concerning my decision.” He looked at the ghost insistently. “I just need the questions…anything that helps me thinking and considering my possibilities. That’s what I wish for.” He looked at the ghost almost fearfully. “Can you do that?”

Ghost smiled brightly. “This, Nino-sama, should be no problem for me.”

“Sorry Rina-chan…” Nino smiled apologetically, showing the young girl his best smile though his heart was beating like madly right now by the thoughts that were spinning through his mind.

“It’s okay.” she smiled back, blushing deeply.

“Ah…” Nino grinned happily. “Our food…” He took his tissue and grabbed his chopsticks. But right at the moment when he wanted to dig his chopsticks into his food, his eyes grew wide. There it was, written right into his rice. If you close your eyes: Who is the person that makes you laugh when you are sad? Who makes you feel comfortable when you are feeling bad?

The letters disappeared, just to show up again: Who do you want to have at your side when you are old and weak?

Nino gulped down his surprise over the sudden appearance of these question, trying to sound as normal as possible while he was talking to Rina. But right when he was about to slowly get relaxed again, there the words were…again…

Who do you miss the most when you are away?

If something good happens in your life, who do you call first?

Who makes your life brighter?

Who do you never grow tired with?

Who tells you that your happiness is the most important?

A shiver ran over Nino’s spine. He bit his lips nervously and sighed a bit. Okay…maybe it hadn’t been the best idea to tell Ghost to surprise him during his dinner… It took him all his concentration and abilities as an actor to not show Rina his indifferent mood.

He actually almost expected it when his coffee came… but still he nearly dropped his cup when he blinked into it. What are you afraid of? Your mother?

What others think of you?

What is really important to you?

Nino almost laughed at that. This ghost was really something…

“You think I’m really something?” Ghost suddenly sat next to him, smiling a bit. “I’ll tell you something else.”

“What?” Nino whispered silently. He blinked as the ghost suddenly disappeared. Instead of him there was something else written on his cake. Why do you need me to give you an answer you already know…?

Sho turned around a bit in his sleep, grumbling a bit and slowly waking up. He was so thirsty. He sat up silently, carefully to not wake up Jun. But when he reached out his hand into Jun’s direction to stroke over the other’s hair lovingly, he blinked. Where was Jun? Sho’s stomach twisted a bit, when he thought about the possibility of Jun suddenly leaving him. But then he shook his head at that. As if Jun would ever do that! He was not the type for this kind of drama and he was not the type who would treat his friends or someone he loved like that. With these thoughts Sho stood up, grabbing his shirt and putting it on again before he left their bedroom, tapping into living room. His eyes immediately caught the frame, hovering on the sofa. Jun’s hands were rubbing over his forehead a bit and though it was so dark in this room Sho could immediately see how bothered Jun was.

“Jun?” He walked towards his lover, sitting down next to him.

Jun almost jumped up when he felt Sho’s hand on his shoulder. Sho smiled a bit, wrapping his arms around Jun’s waist. “Hey…” he smiled. “You look so absent-minded and bothered… What’s up with you?”

Jun sighed a bit. “Hey Sho…”

“Hm?” Sho looked at the other curiously.

“What would you answer… if someone asked you about your biggest desire? The one thing you wish for the most?” Jun looked at Sho insistently.

Sho shook his head, feeling seriously confused. “My biggest desire?” he paused. “I’m not sure if I have such a thing… I feel quite content with everything.” He smiled a bit. It wasn’t a lie, he had spoken these words out of deep honesty. Apparently Jun had realised this too, because his expression got even more bothered. Sho blinked as a sudden thought crossed his mind. “And you?” he touched Jun’s shoulder softly, showing him a warm smile. “What’s your biggest wish, Jun? What do you dream for?”

Jun smiled a bit, leaning back. He took Sho’s hand into his, looking at him apologetically. “Just promise me you won’t feel bad or guilty now, okay?”

Sho blinked at that, starting to feel seriously uncomfortable. “Why would I feel bad?”

Jun sighed. “Because it’s something you can’t give me.” he explained carefully. “It’s something I can’t have.”

“Are you sure it’s nothing I can do for you… or if I really can’t give it to you?” the older one tried to make sure.

Jun smiled sadly. “I’m totally sure. It’s impossible for you. And also for our ghost. I can’t have it.”

Sho shook his head a bit, trying to think about all the possibilities, but no matter how hard he tried, he didn’t find an answer. He slowly started to grasp Jun’s words from before. If Jun said he should feel guilty, it meant that… Sho shifted around a bit, biting his lips at that. “You mean…” he mumbled. “…it’s something you could have theoretically. But can’t have it because you are together with me?”

“Exactly this is what I don’t want you to think.” Jun looked into Sho’s eyes directly now. “It has nothing to do with you, okay? I have made this decision long ago…”

Sho sighed at that. “Really Jun, you have to tell me. I’m going insane here…”

Jun turned his head away from Sho, looking up at the ceiling. “You know… I…” he bit his lips nervously, before he took a deep breath. It was something Sho had the right to know and it was something he should know. For Jun this relationship with Sho was too important to lie about this one thing. Sho should know the truth even if it would bring some difficulties to them. “I always wanted to become a father…”

Sho’s eyes grew wide at that. He immediately realised why Jun almost begged him not too feel guilty, because…he was right: It was not an impossible wish… But when being together with him, Jun could never have it. “Your biggest wish is...”

“…to have a child.”

However Sho's problem could have a good loophole :D
