First Kame solved this little problem with the letter. He believes that the woman is alive. Well, we'll see if he is right or not.
Then he and Jin finally got things going and committed to each other :D
And then Ryo and Jin...finally talking about the things that happened between them. Jin really should have done that earlier, right? Of course Ryo was totally angry at him and disappointed and didn't want to hear anything from him. But then, when Jin explained everything, Ryo was just too relieved and happy that Jin turned back to being his nice and understand older brother. That's why, momentarily, he isn't thinking too much about the threatening letters and the danger Jin talked about. You are right, at this moment, other things were more important for him.
